  • LongHouse Coop: A spacious single-level design with 2 nesting boxes and full-length roosting bars for those that need to accommodate a larger flock.

Q: What is the actual coop footprint?

๐Ÿšš DELIVERY, PICKUP & SITE PREPARATION

Q: Do you offer delivery?
A: Yes! We offer delivery of our Fully Assembled Coops within 350 miles of our manufacturing location in Broken Arrow, OK. The first 100 miles of all deliveries are Free.

Q: How are the coops delivered?
A: Coops are delivered fully assembled using a rollback-style trailer, allowing for smooth unloading directly off the back. Delivery typically takes about 30 minutes.

Q: Can I pick up my coop myself?
A: Yes! Youโ€™re welcome to pick up your coop using your own trailer. We offer forklift loading assistance at our Broken Arrow location. Please ensure your trailer is suited to carry the coopโ€™s size and weight (approx. 1,000โ€“1,200 lbs). Not applicable for Rent-to-Own orders.

Q: What are the delivery access requirements?
A: Clear access for a truck and trailer up to 45+ feet long and 11 feet high is required. Please evaluate your property for:

  • Low-hanging branches, power/phone lines

  • Tight turns, narrow gates

  • Ditches or uneven terrain

  • Minimum 4 feet of clearance around the coop site

  • At least 50 feet of straight clearance for trailer exit

Important Note: Drivers do not trim trees, remove obstacles, or modify fences/gates. If access is unsafe or unfeasible, the customer must arrange an alternate site or modify the location. Return trips incur an additional rate.

Q: Do you provide site prep or anchoring?
A: No, we do not offer these services. However, we recommend a level, compacted baseโ€”gravel with a layer of construction-grade sand is ideal for stability, drainage, and easy cleanup.

Q: What pad size should I prepare?
A: We recommend preparing a minimum 7' x 13' pad to accommodate the coop's actual skid footprint (72" x 142").

Is there protection if something happens to my coop?

Yes โ€” KLC Rentals offers an optional Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) program. If your coop is damaged by fire, storm, or other natural disasters, LDW gives you peace of mind by:

  • Releasing you from any remaining payments

  • Providing repairs, or a replacement coop if needed

  • Having no deductible

  • Usually being more affordable than adding to your homeowners insurance

To qualify, you must provide a police report within 48 hours of the incident and be current on your payments.

What if I donโ€™t own the property where the coop is being placed?

If you're placing the coop on property you donโ€™t own, a Landownerโ€™s Permission Form is required. This gives KLC Rentals the ability to retrieve the coop in the event of non-payment.
